It's a busy year for events going on in Bolton what with the Olympic Torch, The Queens Jubilee, The Food and Drink Festival but lets not forget The Bolton Le Mans Motorsport Festival on 16th/17th June which celebrates the TWIN TOWN staus betwwen Bolton and Le Mans.
The Motorsport Festival runs to coincide with the fabulous Le Mans 24 hour Race and it's great to report that our very own Bolton Le Mans race team RLR Msport will be taking part in this years race running the Murphy's Protoype Fuels race car.
During the Motorsport Festival weekend Bolton will see a huge range of car displays including Mazda Motorpark who will be attending with their stunning mobile car showroom which will be set up in Victoria Square and a range of their stunning cars.
Perry's Peugeot will be unveiling for the FIRST TIME in the UK their BRAND NEW model 208 as well as their stunning range opposite the Town Hall .
Gordons Ford will celebrating 100 years of Ford with a great display reflecting the history of the company in Bolton and they will be situated on the newly refurbished pedestrian area in the town centre.
Kia Bolton will play host to the fabulous F1 Paddock situated inside The Market Place Bolton where you can get up close to the fabulous F1 car display!
A whole host of attractions will be presented throughout the town centre over the 2 days and with the support of our Festival Partner the University of Bolton there will be classic Le Mans GT40's, karting,Drifting and rally cars on display.
The event will also have a music stage and Buskers Trail taking visitors down to the historic Churchgate where you can see a whole host of Classic Cars and the Buskers Stage hosted by Booth's Music and the Man and Sythe public house.
This will be a great FREE FAMILY WEEKEND for kids of all ages ...and let's not forget IT'S FATHERS DAY ON SUNDAY 17th JUNE so what better way to enjoy the day !
