Figures show an increased footfall in the market and improved occupancy on the stalls themselves. The number of coach bookings coming to Bolton Market has increased from 122 in 2008 to almost 250 in 210.
Westhoughton Market is also undergoing extensive change with the introduction of the monthly farmers markets and a number of more unusual stall holders such as Vintage Clothing.
