The annual Bolton Bazaar proved a huge success yet again as hundreds of children and adults came together to showcase the town's breadth of talent from across all age groups and backgrounds.
The event was held for the first time in the town's newest venue, The Excellency, which holds up to 1500 people in opulent splendour and around 27 acts entertained the audience of around 800 local people.
Among the guests were the town's 3 MP's, David Crausby, Yasmin Qureshi and Julie Hilling and the entertainment included spectacular dances from local groups, solo singers and an arrangement of Mary Poppins Songs from the Bolton based, 50 strong Cotton Town Chorus, Britain's top Barbershop Choir as well as a rousing performance from the drums of the D6Dhollis.
Bolton fashion retailer Aults displayed a range of mens and womenswear in a sparkling catwalk style show, showcasing their new range of womenswear as well as their more traditional mens clothing.
The Bazaar was again organised by local businessman Bipin Patel and demonstrated the rich vein of talent that Bolton's multi-cultural community enjoys. This event succeeded once again in bringing together the towns various communities and presenter Reena Banks said "people really seemed to enjoy it".
