Bolton Market really is going from strength to strength and has recently been named as one of the finalists in the BBC Radio 4 Food and Farming Awards.
The market has been shortlisted in the catagory 'Best Food Market' in the prestigious awards described by Jamie Oliver as 'The Oscars of the food world'.
Bolton Market currently attracts around 300 coaches each year and has a growing reputation as one of the Norths premier food markets.
This is not the only award Bolton Market has won over recent years. The market has a string of accolades behind it such as 'Supporter of the Year' at the Refresh Awards in May, 'Britains Best Indoor Market Hall 2010' and 'Tourisn Retailer of The Year' .
The market also boasts anumber of celebrity fans such as the Hairy Bikers, Thomasina Miers and BBC Fusion Chef Aazam Ahmed.
The Food and Farming Awards will be held at the NEC in Birminghmam in November.
Bolton's indoor market on Ashburner Street is open Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 9am-5pm and the outdoor market has a carboot sale running from 7.30am-2pm on Sundays.
Tune into the awards on Friday November 25th at 12.05pm and Sunday November 18th and Monday November 29th at 4pm.
