Over 1000 spectators will come into Bolton to watch the Strogest Man competition being hosted in Victoria Square in Bolton.
The competition started as a small, low key events at a community fun day, has increased in popularity with over 350 people watching the last event on school playing fields in Farnworth.
This year, with the backing of Bolton Council, the event is hoped to attract over 1000 spectators to the town centre with over 20 contenders taking part on a large stage.
Organiser Andy Seddon is now looking for potential strong men with a warm up event taking place on Saturday 12th June at SV Gym, St Marks Street, Great Lever and the main event is expected to take place in August.
Although last years event attraacted contenders from across the UK, this years event will feature only home grown Bolton talent.
