Curley’s Dining Rooms are now taking bookings for Christmas Day, as the restaurant will be open between 1 and 4pm on December 25^th.

A deposit of £50 will be payable to reserve your party’s booking. The price for children up to the age of 12 is £19.95 and for everyone else the price to indulge in this splendid meal is £49.95.

There is a choice of 4 fabulous starters on Christmas Day. There is:

• Tomato and apple cider soup
• Crawfish cocktail (served on a bed of lettuce with seafood sauce)
• Selection of homemade pate (chicken liver with red wine and mixed herbs)
• Halloumi and black tower pudding (with a rich creamy peppercorn sauce)

The main courses at Curley’s on Christmas Day is just as extraordinary. Choose from:

• Slow succulent roast turkey (dished up with chipolatas, roast potatoes, roast parsnips, sprouts, carrots, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and gravy)
• Honey roasted gammon (accompanied with roast potatoes, roast parsnips, sprouts, carrots, Yorkshire puddings, stuffing and gravy)
• Beef Wellington (served with roast potatoes, roast parsnips, sprouts, carrots, Yorkshire puddings, stuffing and gravy.)
• Grilled fillet of sea bass (served on a bed of savoy cabbage and crushed potatoes finished with balsamic glaze)
• Wild mushroom stroganoff (wild country mushrooms cooked in a cream and wholegrain mustard sauce service with wild basmati rice.)

Finally there is a selection of 4 yummy desserts as well. These are:

• Traditional Christmas pudding (served with a choice of custard, brandy sauce or cream)
• Cartmel sticky toffee pudding (prepared with a choice of ice cream, custard or cream)
• Christmas trifle
• Selection of ice cream.  

Then finally to round off your meal in style, dig in to a mince pie and some fresh tea or coffee.

As well as the excellent Christmas Day menu, there will be the just as appetising Christmas Fayre menu available from November 11^th to the end of the festive period, excluding Christmas Day itself. The price for this will be £8.95 for the main course, £11.95 for 2 courses and all 3 courses (starter, main meal and dessert for £14.95.

The choice of starter is either soup of the day (crusty cob and butter) or prawn cocktail in a marie sauce, served on a bed of lettuce with cherry tomatoes.

All the main courses are served with lashings of seasonal vegetables and roast potatoes. Then you can pick from either finest top side of beef and horseradish or hand carved slow roast turkey with sage and onion stuffing and lashings of gravy.

Finally for desserts there is either a selection of cakes or traditional Christmas pudding. Both will be served with ice cream, cream or brandy sauce.
