And they recently proved their talents are endless by designing a package to boost a landscaping firm's business. Not usually two things one would usually consider to go well together, Cloud Clever managed to merge the two separate entities that are technology and landscape gardening.
Cloud Clever desinged the system for Greenfingers Lanscape, a Cheshire-based firm, which they say will help them cut administration costs, boost efficiency, and raise customer satisfaction. Greenfingers has 140 staff in four bases across the UK, and lists councils, housing associations, and small and medium-sized firms amongst it's clients. Managing Director of Cloud Clever, Ben Griffifths, had been responsible for Greenfingers' IT systems for a number of years, so it therefore only seemed naturally for Cloud Clever to establish their new cloud-based IT infrastructure.
Cloud computing is a general term for anything that involves delivering hosted services over the Internet. Instead of using in-house servers to store email and documents, they are accessed through the Internet. Data is stored across multiple locations, ensuring it is safe at all times, but also easily accessible at all times and always ready for use.
Cloud users can access all the software, email, documents databases and applications from any internet enabled device, including PCs, Laptops, Tablets and Smart Phones.
