How many people can say that they’ve worked for 50 years for the same company? Well that astounding achievement is something that Alan Millington can boast. He has worked at CMS Doors in Bolton for 50 years on Saturday 3rd August.
To celebrate his working anniversary, John Millington, who himself has worked at CMS Doors for over 20 years, is organising an event on Saturday 3rd August. It will take place at CMS Doors’s showroom on 95-97 Market Street, Little Lever. Between 9am and 1pm there will be light refreshments and snacks to enjoy, Alan himself will be there so you can congratulate him and The Bolton News will hopefully be there too. Alan doesn’t want to make a fuss, so please don’t tell him this event is happening!
Alan began his time with CMS Doors in Bolton on the 3rd August 1963. He is the grandson of the original owner, Albert Millington.
