Digicomm BCS rises to the Challenge
Bolton based Communications Company, Digicomm BCS are proud to announce their participation in a gruelling 'Triple Challenge' in support of local charity, the Bolton Lads and Girls Club.
The first event takes place on Sunday 5th June at Holcombe Moor Army base famously known as the setting for TV's 'The Krypton Factor' where teams from local businesses will compete against each other in a series of rigorous tasks including human table football; problem solving and paintballing with the finale being the completion of the actual 'Krypton Factor' course.
Approximately 23 miles in total, the second task is a strenuous walk which includes the three towers of Rivington, Darwen and Peel which will take about 10 hours to complete and takes place on Sunday 3rd July. Many of the Kilimanjaro team undertook it as part of their training.
The third and most challenging of all is the 'Dragon's Den Cycle Challenge' on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th September which starts in the village of Stoak in Cheshire and finishes 120 miles later in the harbour town of Abersoch.
Mark Pollitt, the Managing Director of Digicomm said 'This is a very exciting year for Digicomm. As it is our ten year anniversary the team decided that we would like to do something extra special for our charity, the Bolton Lads and girls Club of which we have been patrons for a few years. We are hoping that our efforts will not only raise much needed funds for the club but that our example will inspire other local businesses to get involved and do their bit for the community.'
