Saturday 5th April – Monday 21st April 2025
Location: Bolton Abbey, starting at the Riverside Car Park
Embark on a magical woodland journey at Bolton Abbey as you search for giant bunnies hidden among the trees in Strid Wood. Each bunny has a clue to help complete your free trail sheet, collected from the kiosk.
Children can also enter the 'Design a Bunny' competition, with the winning design being featured in the 2026 trail. A Bolton Abbey Season Ticket is up for grabs too. A fun day out filled with nature and creativity.

Location: Smithills Open Farm, Bolton
One of Bolton’s most popular Easter events returns with a brilliant egg hunt for all the family. Every participating child will receive either an Easter egg or a cuddly Easter teddy, along with plenty of sweets and chocolates.
Enjoy the fresh air, meet the animals, and snap a photo with the Easter Bunny and Easter Chick. A fantastic Easter tradition that’s perfect for younger children.
