The fair will be held in the tipis on Victoria Square from 11am – 2pm and there will be hot drinks and snacks available.
A large selection of stall holders will have Christmas gifts on offer, including hand-knitted toys, beanies, scarves, jewellery, games, hand-crafted cards, decorations, calendars, stationery, chocolate and cakes. Visitors can also take part in a number of prize draws and tombolas, with proceeds all going to the charities of the stallholders.
Funds from a giant raffle, and a tombola run by former Bolton mayoresses and female councillors will also contribute to the Mayor’s Charity Appeal.
The Mayor of Bolton, Councillor Carole Swarbrick said: “The fair will be a great occasion to pick up some bargains and contribute to some really worthwhile causes at the same time. It should be an opportunity for all visitors to get into the festive spirit and see what Bolton has to offer, and I hope that everyone who can make it comes along to the square to see what is happening.”
