A couple of our bestof Bolton members have now been officially recognised as a breastfeeding friendly venue. Fidgets Soft Play Centre and THE Chinese Buffet have done the Breastfeeding Friendly Bolton Training and received their certificates.
The training was run by local charity Bolton CVS. Liz from Fidgets said she wanted to thank the team for running the training. 14 members of their staff undertook the training. They now all have a certificate and new knowledge to put into practice. All their customers are really enjoying it and Fidgets have been letting everyone know on their social media sites.
Staff from THE Chinese Buffet have also got their certificates. The management team have also donated a £20 voucher to for the restaurant to raffle off at the Breastfeeding Friendly Bolton Launch Event on Tuesday 23rd July.
The aim of Breastfeeding Friendly Bolton is to make breastfeeding in Bolton a positive experience for mums. The initiative was started to encourage local business owners to give breast feeding mums and consistent and positive experience across Bolton Businesses. Stickers are displayed to say you are not only a breastfeeding friendly venue but you will actively welcome and support breast feeding mums positively and in a way they can breast feed in the restaurant without embarrassment or feeling awkward. At THE Chinese Buffet and Fidgets, it will be a positive experience for everyone now.
