The details of the funeral of former Bolton Wanderers player, Nat Lofthouse has today been announced.
Mr Lofthouse died on Saturday aged 85 and the people of Bolton are being given the opportunity to say farewell.
His funeral will take place at Bolton Parish Church on Tuesday 26th January at 12.30pm. There will be players past and present as well as a civic party.
Seating inside the church will be limited to 600 however there will be speakers outside the church for fans to stop and listen to the service.
The funeral will then be followed by a private committal.
At the request of the family, there are to be no flowers but donations can be made to Bolton Hospice or Cancer Research.
