With the summer holidays drawing to a close and the start of a new school term fast approaching, it’s time to start thinking about new weekday play sessions and activities for children to get involved in. Fidgets have announced a marvelous range of educational and fun-filled ventures for youngsters to participate in. Here’s a rundown of all of them.

The ever popular Musicaliti starts on Monday 1^st September. The one hour session for 0-2 year olds begins at 2am and costs £4 and the session for 12 months plus runs from 11am-12pm and costs £5. There is no need to book ahead for this session. Musicaliti is a weekly music session that has been proven to have many benefits for little ones, like benefiting literacy, maths skills and memory.

The team behind Musicaliti are bringing Rockschool to Fidgets as well. It’s begins at 4.30pm every Thursday for infant school children and costs £8 including play and eat. Please bring your own guitar with you.

Why not give your child the opportunity to learn another language? They have both French and Spanish classes starting soon. There is a taster session on the 10^th September to see if your child will enjoy it and the first proper classes begin on 17^th September. The Spanish sessions start at 2.15pm for 2-4 years whilst infant school kids should be enrolled on the 4.30pm class. The costs are £5 and £8 respectively including play and eat. Sing and sign is always an excellent session at Fidgets. Babies attend the 9.10am session, stage 1 kids on the 10am session and stage 2 little ones on the 11am session. Gentle touch babies is continuing at Fidgets on Mondays at the Spike James hair salon within Fidgets. This involves baby massages and baby yoga with the tranquil setting of the salon. Call Lisa on 07846 215092 to reserve a place.

If you run a fun children’s class that you think would be perfect to hold at Fidgets, get in touch with them to arrange a meeting. The room in question is 6 metres by 5 metres in addition the enormous play area and it’s currently available on Monday afternoons, all day Tuesday and Friday and Thursday mornings/late afternoon.
