Business and IT students at Bolton College gathered together to mark their success throughout 2012, during an annual presentation award evening yesterday, Thursday 15 November.
Celebrations were in order as more than 50 students and apprentices, aged between 17 and 60, were awarded with their diplomas and qualifications in business, IT, management and accountancy.
The event was held at the College’s multi-million pound state-of-the-art campus on Deane Road.
Business student, Timothy Fields, 18, said: “The award evening was a great way for us all to get together and celebrate our success. I feel great about what I’ve achieved and can’t wait to start the next step of my career path.”
Marie Gilluley, Principal of Bolton College, said: “The award evening was a great way for our learners to reflect on their hard work, and a chance for them to feel proud about their fantastic achievements.
“We wish all our students the best of luck, whether they decide to continue their studies or go on to employment within the Bolton area, and we look forward to following their progress in the future.”
