The Greater Manchester Police Band are preparing to be guests of Bolton Cancer Voices in their forthcoming Christmas concert ‘Jingle Bell Sing-A-Long’, which takes place on Saturday 2nd December, 6-45pm, in the Victoria Hall, Bolton. This is the second occasion that the two groups have joined forces for this annual musical extravaganza.
Under the baton of their new Conductor – Alexander Webb, the 40-strong symphonic wind band undertake many civic, community, charity and private events across the region throughout the year.
Karen Elliott, Chair of Bolton Cancer Voices said:-
‘We are absolutely thrilled that the Police Band will again be joining us: they were a huge hit with the audience at our last ‘Jingle Bell Sing-A-Long’ concert and we loved performing with them.
You have only to look at events happening across Greater Manchester to realize just how much demand there is on their time and the number of engagements they carry out, so it’s a real coup to have them here in Bolton in the lead up to Christmas.
It’s a wonderful way for the whole family to get their festive season off to a great start. Come along and enjoy singing all the popular carols and beautiful Christmas melodies that enter our lives for the briefest of time before again falling silent as the New Year dawns.’
Tickets for ‘Jingle Bell Sing-A-Long’ priced £10-00 / £5-00 (under 19s), are available from the Ticket Secretary on 01204 883977 / 07812 920683, members of Bolton Cancer Voices and in person from the Victoria Hall Box Office.
