Tumble Dwyers are celebrating their 3rd birthday this month. Here Mandy from the shop reflects on their time in business so far.
3 years ago, we went to view a shop on Longcauseway, Farnworth. It was completely empty but we saw the potential straight away. We were starting a business from scratch which for some is a scary prospect but we had a really good feeling about it and quickly accepted the lease on the shop.
On the 19th September 2011, we opened our doors for the first time by the name of Tumble Dwyers Dry Cleaning & Laundry Studio...and we've never looked back!
3yrs on, we still have customers visiting us on a weekly basis who came to our shop the very week we opened. Our customers are everything to us and without them we wouldn't have a business. We are so lucky to have such pleasant, chatty customers whom we have grown very fond of over the years.
As well as our customers who come into our shop, we also have a daily collection and delivery round which keeps us extra busy. We don't charge for collections and deliveries which our customers are very grateful for. These customers range from very busy business men and women who don't have time to leave the office, to elderly ladies and gents who physically cannot get to our shop. Our service makes life so much easier for these people and brightens our day knowing we are helping them.
The last 3yrs have been an amazing journey with business growing by the day, and we owe it all to our customers.
