During September, you may see a lot of publicity concerning organic food because the month of September has been declared “Organic September” by the soil association. It replaces the previous National Organic Fortnight that ran previously.
The motto of this year’s campaign is small changes, big difference and the aim is to promote and encourage people to try the dozens of organic products that are available to us.
Organic products are foods that have been produced using environmentally friendly and animal friendly methods. Even if you just replace one product with an organic one you’ll see and taste the difference in quality.
Bolton Markets and the smaller markets across the town have several stalls where you can pick up organic products.
