Facials are one of the most relaxing and luxurious treatments you can have at Lasting Beauty. They are a fantastic way of keeping your skin in perfect condition. If you’ve never had one before here’s what to expect.
The best way to prepare for your facial is to go for an initial consultation first. Then the team at Lasting Beauty can ask you if you’ve got any allergies, what products you currently use on your face, if you’ve had any facials before and what you hope to get from having the facial. It will help determine the right facial for you too
The best time to have the facial depends on your reasons for having it. Book a late afternoon or evening appointment (Lasting Beauty is open till pm Tuesday and Thursday) if you want pore cleansing and extraction, as you probably won’t be going anywhere afterwards, but schedule an appointment several days in advance if the facial is for a special occasion like a wedding or christening.
How long your skin takes to recover from the facial depends on how sensitive your skin is and how intense the facial is. You can apply make up after a facial, but the skin will still look rosy for a couple of hours after the facial treatment.
Your beautician at Lasting Beauty will advise you how regularly you should treat yourself to a facial, as it depends on individual skin types. Remember though to look after your skin at home in between appointments to get the maximum benefit of the facial.
