An exhibition of paintings by famous Iranian artist Raoof Haghighi opens at the Bolton Museum today.
Working in acrylic, oil and pen, Raoof's paintings of his native Iran have drawn praise from key figures within the art world and he is particularly renowned for his use of natural light and almost photo-realistic portraits.
Starting from 9am today and running until the 24th July, the exhibition displays some Raoof's key works, including some for public sale.
