Bolton Cancer Voices are appealing for new members to take part in their forthcoming Christmas concert ‘Jingle Bell Sing-A-Long’ in the Victoria Hall Bolton on Saturday 6th December 2014.
The concert first held last year proved such a success that organizers have decided to repeat the venture, once again welcoming back the renowned Besses o’ th’ Barn Band to join them on stage for a night of carols and popular Christmas tunes.
Membership of Bolton Cancer Voices is open to cancer patients and cancer survivors, regardless of the time since diagnosis. The Choir accepts people from any geographical area as long as they can get to the centre of Bolton for rehearsals: and to ensure the Choir is accessible to all no previous singing experience is required; you don’t need to be able to read music; there are no auditions and no membership fees to worry about.
Karen Elliott, Chair of Bolton Cancer Voices said: - ‘This is a fabulous time for new members to join us. ‘Jingle Bell Sing-A-Long’ is just one ofthe appearances we have lined up over the festive period.
We are having a real push to recruit up to our optimum membership number of 70, so I really hope that people will feel inspired to come and join us whatever stage they are at in their cancer journey.’
