Heart Rhythm Week is celebrating its tenth year this year taking place from 2-8th June. Why not get involved?
Heart Rhythm Week has one aim, to bring thousands of people together to raise awareness of arrhythmias.
An arrhythmia is a problem where people can suffer with an irregular heartbeat rate. During an arrhythmia the heart can beat to slow or too fast or with an irregular rhythm.
This year’s Heart Rhythm Week is to celebrate Ten Years of Innovations and Advancements in Arrhythmia Patient Care and involves raising awareness!
There’s so many ways to raise awareness, such as holding events such as pulse check clinics, cardiac cafes where people can find out more information about symptoms of arrhythmia, community education and fundraising events, going to local events and providing awareness packs to local people.
Everyone can get involved!
If you think you suffer from an irregular heart pulse or would like to find out some more information, why not get in touch with Sykes Chemist, pop in to your local branch and speak to one of the friendly pharmacists.
