We asked Jon Melia from Lostock IT Services a few questions of what it's like to be in business and this is what he said.
1)What do you love most about being your own boss?
Being free to manage my own time and work when I need/want to, not just during specific hours. If I need to work at the weekend or evening I can do, freeing up time to do other things during the day if necessary.
2)What’s the best decision you have made in the last 12 months?
Becoming my own boss… it’s hard work, but there are rewards
3)Who would you like to play you in a movie in real life?
Tom Hiddlestone, I think he plays some great characters.
4)What’s your favourite movie of all time and why?
It has to be Blade Runner. I am true sci-fi geek, but the part that Rutger Hauer plays in this film in the death scene is a classic. There are many more films I could pick from different genres..
