Stella Omoregie along with her husband George founded Kids Fashion Mart three years ago combining on-line sales of children’s clothing with a retail boutique on Chorley Old Road in Bolton. Their business is now set to achieve great things as they open their new boutique in the resurgent Bolton Market Place.

We asked Stella a few questions of what it’s like to be in business…

1. What inspired you to start a business in Children’s clothing?

We really have a passion to dress children beautifully and this was our inspiration to start Kids Fashion Mart, we want children everywhere to be wearing our clothes.

2. What’s the best piece of business advice you have been given and who gave it to you?

Winners don’t quit and quitters don’t win. Surround yourself with people that support your vision – George Omoregie.

3. There’s lots of children’s clothing shops around, what makes Kids Fashion Mart one of the best?

We don’t just sell children’s clothes, we sell luxurious, stylish and unique designer children’s clothes.

Our array of designer Children’s wear includes Bench, Guess, Junior Gaultier, Lili Gaufrette, Desigual, Patachou and Xti just to mention a few. We also have a wide range of christening and communion wear from Sarah Louise. Kids Fashion Mart is the only stockists of the above mentioned brands in Bolton.

It’s the personal service we give and the knowledge we have around the brands we stock which sets Kids Fashion Mart firmly apart from other clothing shops.

4. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Ironically, I always wanted to be an actress and I’m still nursing that ambition!

5. What advice would you give to somebody who wants to set up their own business?

Put your heart into it, let your passion shine through, hold on to your vision because if you can dream it, you can achieve it. Surround yourself with people that support your vision and most importantly, never give up!

6. What are your future plans for Kids Fashion Mart?

To be situated in the choicest shopping malls around the UK. To be amongst the top three choices for designer children’s wear in the UK.
