If you visit Fancy That Bolton in the future, you’ll see an unfamiliar face behind the counter. That’s because Laura Mores has just started as an apprentice.
She’s doing a 15 month apprenticeship in customer service with Mojo Trust. Laura, aged 20, will be learning about stock tacking, ordering new stock, manning the tills and a whole lot more.
Laura has experience in retail, as she previously worked at TK Max over Christmas. Her apprenticeship with Fancy That is a full time position and Laura is really enjoying her new role. She says it helps that she had a familiar face working with her, as her brother’s girlfriend Fran works at Fancy That Bolton.
It’s all changed at Fancy That Leigh too, as Tom Heywood is now managing the store. He previously worked at the Bolton shop, but his time is now spent in Leigh. Well done to Tom on his promotion! He took the reins after the previous manager, Kate Hollinshead, left for family reasons.
