One of the most cherished members of Fancy That has finally announced his retirement. He has been a constant presence in Fancy That for over 6 years and has always been there to greet customers with unwavering dedication and stony faced facial expressions, but he has now decided that the time is right to hand over the reins to someone else.
That’s right, Derrick the dalek in Fancy That’s’ shop window is finally ready to celebrate his golden years in peace. Or to spend more time thwarting Doctor Who. You decide.
Derrick has been a constant presence in window displays for several years. But now he has been cruelly displaced by the characters of star wars. It’s like this much person was never even there.
Derrick has built a loyal rapport with all the customers he meets in the shop, despite only seem to be able to speak one work, exterminate. Vix from Tower FM is the only one brave enough to call him by his nickname, Derrick. No one at Fancy That dared give him a name for fear of being exterminated!
The great relationship between Derrick and Fancy That is now over and although you won’t see Derrick the Dalek at Fancy That anymore, you will see hundreds of great costumes that are suitable for pretty much any theme of party or event.
