Nat Lofthouse OBE:
Rumours have been circulated on Facebook and Twitter that the legend that is Nat Lofthouse OBE has passed away.
These rumours are unfounded and I can confirm that Nat is seriously ill but has NOT passed away.
The rumours came from an article that was online by Bolton News.
Having spoken to the paper, they have informed me that an internal server shut down and rebooted sending filed articles onto the website.
We appreciate that it is not a good enough reason for what has happened, and I have been asked to inform all friends and fans that the paper apolagizes whole heartedly and are working to take it off the website.
The paper themselves have spoken to the Lofthouse family and apolagized.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Nat and his family at this difficult time.
