Volunteer Bolton is a volunteer recruitment event co-ordinated by Volunteer Centre Bolton and supported by Bolton CVS and Bolton Council. The event takes place during National Volunteers Week and is a great opportunity for the public to learn about the valuable work community groups do – and more importantly, it gives you the chance to find a volunteer role that suits your time, outlook and ability.
The event is taking place as part of Volunteer Week which is 1st-7th June. There are some 400 groups with over 4000 volunteers contributing more than £1m into the Bolton Economy-and so much more... Volunteers get things done and bring the community together.
Volunteering is great as for most people it can be reqarding and uplifting experience and really builds confidence. Its a great way of meeting new friends and can improve health and well-being as well as learning new skills and being great for your CV.
