One Bolton celebrates all that's great about our borough, encouraging people from all backgrounds, beliefs and values to get together to enjoy events, cultural activities and to simply have fun.
This weekend will see another fantastic opportunity for a gret day out with a multicultural event celebrating the ‘Spirit of Bolton’ to be held in Victoria Square, on Saturday, September 10 from 10.30am to 3.30pm.
The event will be officially opened at 10.45am by the Mayor of Bolton, Councillor Noel Spencer and will also be attended by the Bishop of Bolton, The Rt. Rev. Chris Edmondson and other guests.
Schools, voluntary, community and faith groups will showcase some of their work through drama performances, singing and Bollywood dancing.
Other activities on offer include free face painting, henna painting and health checks by trained health trainers.
The Swaminarayan Gadi Pipe Band will play Scottish and Indian tunes in and around the town centre.
