Throughout October many businesses are taking part in the Bolton Hospice bake-a-thon, but they still need many more local companies to get involved.
Bake your favourite treat for the appeal as it really doesn’t matter what you bake. It could be a carrot cake, scone, fruit loaf or Lancashire tart, or something completely different, the choice is yours!
Last year Asons solicitors won the title but competition this year is expected to be fiercer than ever. Representatives from Bolton Hospice will be visiting the businesses that take part to judge their creations and decide on a winner. Each team must put forward one cake to be judged.
Bolton residents are getting involved in the bake-a-thon as well, in the form of bake sales, dinner parties and even cake eating competitions. Places are limited though.
Of course all the money raised from the Bolton Hospice bake-a-thon will go directly to support the vital work that Bolton Hospice do every day. They provide free, expert care to patients with life limiting conditions and their families.
