The Purple Property Shop, who have offices in Bury, as well as Bolton, are now supporting Bury Hospice by donating 10% of all their revenues from houses they sell or rent in Bury to the hospice.
Sally Glennen and Matthew Jones, director of sales and managing director of The Purple Property Shop respectively, read about the financial concerns of Bury Hospice in the local newspaper and wanted to help.
They both have experience in health service management and so approached Jacqui Comber, Bury Hospice Chief Executive, to see what they could do to support them. Matt recognised that the work Bury Hospice do is vital to the people of Bury and so was concerned about their financial situation.
As a result of the meeting Matt and Sally will now be donating 10% of all revenues associated with properties they sell or rent in the Bury district to the hospice. This is going to be worth thousands of pounds to Bury Hospice in the future.
The Purple Property Shop’s fees begin at only £700 and if you live in the BL8, BL9, BL0 and M26 postcode areas, 10% of this will go directly to Bury Hospice at no cost to you.
Matt says there are now really proud to be associated with Bury Hospice and are privileged to help them reach their goals and give excellent end of life care to the families of Bury. Jacqui Comber said the Hospice was really grateful for the gesture and hope that other businesses will be encouraged to see how they can support Bury Hospice.
At The Purple Property Shop they always provide great customer service and value for money, the same principles that the NHS gives its patients, and it is these values that have made The Purple Property Shop become one of Bolton’s leading estate agents, despite only being established 4 years ago. They have grown tremendously in a relatively short amount of time and have won 7 awards in that time, including most loved estate agent in the UK for 3 years in a row.
