The Easter school holidays is almost here and if like a lot of people, you are wondering how you can keep your children amused over the 2 week school holidays, we have plenty of ideas of things to do and places to visit to keep the whole family happy and busy over Easter.
To begin with there is going to be a fantastic fun fair from North West Fun Fairs starting on 30th March at the Reebok Stadium. The fair will be running until the second April.
How about going along to Bolton Museum and Libraries, they have some fabulous events over the next few weeks including Celebrate Spring and Bugs, Butterflies Birds and Fish,.
How about popping along to a local craft fair and pick up a few bits to keep the children occupied over the school holidays. Bolton Craft Fair takes place at St Matthews Church on 31st March.
The Albert Halls always has plenty to keep everyone happy all the time, not just over the school holidays but on 31st March, they have ‘All Star American Wrestling’ and with just a few tickets left for this event, you need to get in there quick to book. You can also book for ‘ The Kidz Concert’ a great time for children of all ages.
One for the adults at the Albert Halls is Mama, Genesis Tribute Band which will be on stage on April 4th
How about a farmers market, not quite in Bolton but just on our doorstep is Ainsworth Village Farmers Market on 1st April, pop along and buy some local produce and I am sure there will be a few yummies to try.
Now if your children love Fireman Sam, then you need to get along to the Market Place Bolton on 3rd April as he will be putting in an appearance for all the children at various times throughout the days.
Finally, last but not least, remembering the real meaning of Easter, you can join in Boltons Big Easter Sing, ‘The Passion for Song’ on Sunday 8th April.
