We have all heard lots of great news about Bolton Market recently winning accolades and awards and also visitor numbers increasing and it is a really great way for new start up businesses to begin trading in a relatively low cost way.
Well this just got event better and budding entrepreneurs are being offered the chance to trade for just £10 at a one off market in Bolton.
The market will be set up in Oxford Street and Deansgate and will be on the first Saturday of ‘Love Your Market’ fortnight in June.
Keith Davies, head of regeneration at Bolton council says the idea is to encourage entrepreneurs of all ages to come and ‘sell their wares’ and will be collaborating with Bolton College and local schools to encourage young people to turn up and trade for less than £10. There is also a possibility of a small schools market as a branch off from the main market.
The idea of the market is to allow people to experience what its actually like to trade in this way and also to take advice from local,s easoned market traders who have a wealth of experience to share with new entrepreneurs.
‘Love Your Market’ fortnight takes place from Saturday 23rd June to July 8th and it is hoped that lots of promotional events will take place at various market venues across Bolton during this fortnight.
Details of applying for a stall at the ‘trade for a Tenner’ event will be released nearer the time.
