We all know how important it is to exercise and how it can make you look and feel excellent.
It will keep your body in shape, is crucial to having a healthy life and is vital in keeping our lungs and heart in good working order.
People come up with lots of reasons not to exercise (myself included) such as I’m too tired, I can’t afford it, I can’t do it, but there really is no reason not to.
Experts recommend you exercise for 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week. You don’t need to be a professional athlete to do exercise or sport and the personal trainers at Helio Fitness will support you every step of the way.
You don’t have to do anything too difficult, but varying the ways you exercise will help keep your body in good working order. At Helio Fitness, they have many different classes for you to choose from, like Zumba, spin classes and metafit. These different exercises have advantages for different parts of your body. As an example, aerobic exercise improves posture.
Where to exercise
You can exercise almost anywhere, not just at Helio. At work, take the stairs rather than waiting for the lift, walk to the shops rather than driving, do the gardening or go out dancing once a month. Integrating these into your routine will make maintaining an exercise routine a lot easier. Helio Fitness are open 6am-10 Monday-Friday, 8am-7pm on Saturdays and 9am-5pm on Sundays, so you can easily come before or after work for a session at the gym.
