Fibromyalgia, I bet most of you don’t know what it is, which is why Fibromyalgia Awareness Week is taking place from 6th-14th September!
A lot of people are unsure of what Fibromyalgia is. Fibromyalgia is a horrible condition which affects both sufferers and their families. It is a condition in your central nervous system which can be caused by a traumatic event.
Thankfully, the condition isn’t life threatening, but it can have a great impact on someone’s life, which is why we want to raise as much awareness as possible!
During Fibromyalgia Awareness Week you will see people wearing yellow and black ribbons for the Fibromyalgia Association. Why not get involved by putting up posters, giving out leaflets and just drawing attention to the day. All your help will be greatly appreciated.
