Bolton's pubs, restaurants, hotels, shops, beauty spots and journeys are all eligible for nomination as 'Hidden Gems', to compete against others across the North of England to be crowned Top Hidden Gem, in a campaign sponsored by Northern Rail.
At thebestof bolton we have long recognised the value to businesses of being recognised by it's customers as a 'recommended business' and 'word of mouth' has always been known as the best form of recommendation for anything, so it's not surprising that The Bolton News are supporting the initiative by Network Rail to identify the towns Hidden Gems.
The campaign is also being backed by the Federation Of Small Businesses who's members know only too well the value of this sort of recognition.
The idea is that we, the people of Bolton, all have our own favourites when it comes to eating out, shopping, walking or simply enjoying a relaxing drink with friends, so why not share our experiences and give others the benefit of our knowledge.
Business owners go out of their way to create 'Customer Experiences' so we, the consumer will enjoy and want to repeat them. Let's reward them where credit is due and tell others about them so everyone can benefit and those businesses thrive.
