As-Suffa is a homeless outreach project which was set up in Bolton in December 2013 and they’re there to provide assistance to those most vulnerable and needy.
Their mission is to provide help and support to anyone in the community who needs it, it doesn’t matter on what race, religion or colour.
As-Suffa work with a whole range of charities, such as Bolton Young Persons Housing Scheme, The Salvation Army, Stonam and so many more.
Every Sunday, the As-Suffa voluntary team in Bolton feed up to 100 homeless people, they receive food from a restaurant in Manchester and distribute it in various hostels.
The volunteers have taken part in so many different challenges, including a 40 mile cycle earlier in the year and most recently, they slept out on the streets and lived a homeless experience themselves for 48 hours to raise awareness.
