Bolton Arts Community Members is a social enterprise organisation founded in 2002. The original idea for the organisation was to support mental health service users, to allow them the opportunity to immerse themselves in their art as part of their recovery process.
The major problem was finding the right premises. By the time the premises had been found it was 2005 and the original idea had been modified to make BACM a fully inclusive organisation.
