"Providing expert palliative care for those suffering with life-limiting illnesses in Bolton"
High Standards
Bolton Hospice provides exceptionally high standards of care to people aged 18 or over who have incurable and life-limiting illnesses, improving quality of life for both patients and their families.
The hospice provides these invaluable services completely free of charge and relies almost entirely on the kindness and generosity of Bolton's local community to cover the cost of their work. Government funding only pays for a fraction of the hospices' costs so it is of vital importance to support this superb local cause.
Weekly Lottery
Just one of the ways you can be involved with supporting Bolton Hospice is by participating in the lottery for just £1 per week!
You could be in with the chance of winning a top cash prize of £1000 every week and there also prizes of £200, £50 and £10 to be won. Even if you don't win, your £1 will always help to support local people with life-limiting illnesses, a great way to give back to Bolton's fantastic community.
How does it work?
Entry to the hospice lottery costs just £1 per week and you can also have more than one entry if you wish. Once your application has been received, you will be allocated a unique five digit number, which is then entered into a draw each Friday.
The three top prize winners will be contacted directly and names announced on Tower FM 107.4 on Friday lunchtime, as well as on Bolton FM 96.5 on Friday evening and again on Monday morning.
All other winners will receive cheques in the post within seven working days. Winning numbers can also be viewed on the hospice website or in The Bolton News every Saturday.
How do I join?
Joining the hospice lottery is easy - simply call, email or visit the website for a short application form and choose your preferred method of payment:
Credit or debit card - simply visit the Bolton Hospice website and pay online.
Direct Debit - just complete an application form and return it Bolton Hospice. If you choose to pay by direct debit you never have to remember when payments are due and reduces collection and administration costs.
Cheque or postal order - enclose a cheque or postal order made payable to Bolton Hospice Lottery (minimum payment £10) along with your application form. When your account gets to £2 the hospice will automatically send you a letter inviting you to renew your membership.
Cash collection - in some areas you can pay your membership fee in cash on a weekly or monthly basis at a Post Office or newsagent. Simply contact the hospice for details of your nearest cash agents.
Direct from your salary, Play as you Earn - a number of local employers are involved in the Bolton Hospice "Play as you Earn" scheme, which allows employees to have their lottery subscription fees deducted directly from their salary payments.
