Bolton & Radcliffe-Branch of Cats Protection is a group of cat-mad volunteers deeply committed to caring for cats that often through no fault of their own, come into their care.
They aim to re-home the cats with loving families, and their policy of Home Visits helps to match the right cat to the right home.
On average, the Branch rescues and re- homes over 100 cats & kittens per year. they do this solely from donations.
They have a non-destruction policy and they never put a healthy cat to sleep. They firmly believe that there is a loving home out there somewhere for every cat.
The group is committed to promoting responsible cat ownership, to provide information to the public on the care of cats and kittens.
They neuter, vaccinate, DE-flea & worm all cats in their care and they operate a Lost & Found register for cats and kittens. Cats Protection is the largest feline welfare charity in the UK. Nationwide they re-home around 60,000 cats and kittens every year. (On average, the Branch rescues and re- homes over 1000 cats & kittens per year, they do this solely from donations).
