Fortalice Fells Walk returns for 2025!

Event Starting Location: Rivington & Blackrod High School
Fortalice Fells Walk – Saturday 5th July 2025 join us and climb Bolton’s iconic landmarks Rivington Pike and Winter Hill whilst raising vital funds for Fortalice for only £12.50!
The route will cover two fells of the Pennine and is a total of 9 Kilometres, you will be provided with your very own Fortalice Fell T-Shirt and walker number to wear on the day. All friendly dogs on leads are welcome!
Our dedicated team will lead the way passing picturesque countryside and climbing to the top. With views of Cumbrian Fells, Blackpool Tower, The Isle of Man, Ashurst’s Beacon and the Welsh mountains, can be seen! You will also pass a quaint coffee shop ‘Pike Cottage’ should you wish to have a ‘tea break’!
On your return back to the event village you will receive your very own Fortalice Fells Medal for completing this challenge and a well-earned Carrs Pasty!
