An Elegant Tribute to England – St George’s Day Dinner 2025

The Royal Society of St George, Bolton Branch, proudly invites guests to attend the prestigious St George’s Day Celebration Dinner 2025, held at the iconic Bolton Town Hall on Saturday, 19th April. This annual event is a cornerstone in the society’s calendar, offering a distinguished evening of celebration, unity, and English pride.

The evening begins at 18:30 with pre-dinner drinks, followed by a memorable programme of fine dining and exceptional entertainment. Guests will enjoy a live performance by Sarah Dennis, known as the Veteran’s Sweetheart, and be guided through the evening by DJ and Compère John Mayoh.

A highlight of the evening will be an inspiring address by Dr. Ken Eglinton, whose talk, "What Makes an Iconic English Hero", promises to captivate and celebrate the spirit of national identity.

This year’s dinner also serves a meaningful purpose, as a fundraising event in support of Bolton Wanderers in the Community – an organisation dedicated to enriching lives across Bolton through education, well-being, and social inclusion.

Tables of 8 are being reserved by local businesses, but individual bookings are warmly welcomed. With limited availability, early reservation is strongly encouraged to avoid disappointment.

A spokesperson for the Society remarked:
"As a society devoted to honouring English heritage and supporting our local community, we are delighted to bring people together for a night that celebrates tradition, fosters connection, and supports a cause that’s truly making a difference."

Join the celebration. Honour tradition. Support community.
