The service and customer care I received was second to none. The owner and staff are very friendly and polite, also very honest and only recommended work required, at no time did they try to force me to have unnecessary jobs carried out when I needed some work doing. Lastly the vehicle was ready for collection way before the time they said it would be. You must be the only reliable honest carparts and garage for miles. Thank you to all at karlines.

It was my first time at Karlines. People here are experts in their field and are able to find you the right product straight away and if you need advice on where to go for anything else they will be sure to point you in the right direction. Really pleased with the service and their resident parrot was a nice welcoming touch to the shop.

A wonderful place with friendly helpful staff , we loved our stay , the spa is wonderful and it’s very clean , restaurant food was excellent in a relaxing environment. Our cottage room was so lovely and the beds are amazingly comfy , we slept so well , duvets are perfect

We overnighted here with trepidation after stopping here on a different tour back in April.
We were pleasantly surprised with a dramatic improvement in service. Our room was cosy and warm, evening meal and breakfast were served hot and the staff were friendly and attentive.

Overall a nice romantic night away, we didn't take walking shoes so probably didn't take full advantage of the surrounding area. Nice pool, food was nice and bar, slept well. Seemed reasonably family friendly, lots of different ages staying.

From check-in to check-out, from the spa to the bar, this hotel is a joy to stay at.
The pool and spa area were clean and the gym & changing areas spotless!
The food in the restaurant was superb.
The service was very friendly and attentive and the overall feel of the hotel was warm and welcoming.
Everything about our stay was great and we will be returning soon (& often!)

Have more than one on reception if takes a while to book in on arrival

Stayed for one night as we needed to drive into Bolton for the Ironman race so we’ll situated for that.
Friendly and professional reception and dining staff - stayed in a cottage room which was ok, very tired and carpets unclean. Bathroom extremely dated with black sealant around the taps - not very pleasing to the eye!
Room would benefit from updating, paid £90 which was ok for condition of room but would pay more for refurbished room.
