We visit on a regular basis, as a family and we all go individually and with friends. Excellent theatre with first class performances.

Absolutely fantastic. The staff to the octagon were amazing working with 85 children/young adults to put on a performance during the summer holidays. My daughter had so much fun rehearsing and performing. Something she will always remember doing. Would recommend for any child

Great theatre and choice of productions. If there is any improvement needed I would say the microphone system needs looking at as sometimes you find it hard to hear what is said, particularly as it is theatre in the round and the actors can have their backs to you. The box office staff are great, particularly with disabled people.f

First time I've seen a play at this theatre and I was not disappointed.
The theatre is right in the centre of town.
The cafe area in the ground floor was a nice size as was the bar upstairs.
Nice clean and cosy theatre really for intimate plays.
I feel think the size of the auditorium was just perfect.
I had a very memorable evening here watching To kill a mockingbird which I really enjoyed
I'll never forget my wonderful night here
The staff are also very friendly and helpful.
I will definitely be coming back to see another play without a doubt

Some of the talking difficult to hear especially with the overdone american accent. Please use head microphones. Toouch scene setting.

the play (to kill a mocking bird was one of the best i have ever seen. great acting, very moving, gripping and dramatic tale. this is a must see production. i was so impressed i want to go and see it again.
i have not been to the Octagon for a few years and i loved the circular set. i don't know if this is permanent but you felt part of the action.
another bonus is free parking at the Octagon multi storey car park. (we were their on a Saturday night)

First time at the Octagon, and decided to try the Cafe Bar before the show.
Quite a limited menu, but our selections were beautifully presented and well cooked. It's a good idea to book your table in advance. My only criticism is that the bench seating is not particularly comfortable, so if you are going ask for a table with chairs!

Over the years we've visited the Octagon many times. It's a lovely intimate theatre with plenty of ambitious productions. Well worth a visit
