I stayed here for work, and I stay at a lot of places, but this place was very surprising. The rooms are basic, but what you get for the money is very pleasing.
Firstly, there is a full gym with a pool! Helpful on those days out for work. Secondly the food was brilliant. Very nice indeed.
But the breakfast was a proper breakfast. Thanks to Lydia who was very attentive in the morning. I managed to order an omelette with all the trimmings but I noticed that they had proper Greek yogurt also, nice selection of pastries and juices, as well as everything else you'd want/expect.

I came here for a work conference but stayed a few days longer to explore the area.
The staff in the hotel were so lovely and friendly. Especially the lady who was serving at breakfast, Lydia, was excellent!

Great job. Great guys. George and Lewis worked tirelessly all day. Polite and very professional. Too all rubbish away. Really pleased with my windows and the door is amazing. Cannot recommend them enough. Always in contact. Great ideas. Let’s you know when they are coming. Great communication. All round excellent job. Thank you guys. You are the best.

Hotel would benefit from refurbishment. The bedrooms need to be updated but they are comfortable and very clean. Signage to hotel off the main road poor; drove past entrance on two occasions. Staff friendly, helpful and thoughtful making the stay very pleasant. Great location for motorway access, places to eat nearby and exploring the north west.

George and his assistant did a great job fitting a new composite front door with glass surround for us. All done in the day with no mess and no damage to the decorations. Very pleased.

We stayed at Mercury Georgian House on a 2 night bed & breakfast plus 1 dinner, 18/6/24 - 20/06/2024. We had a problem with part of our meal on our first night, and Ramzan Duty Manager quickly resolved our meal problem and didn’t charge us. Also would like to mention Claire on Reception the night we arrived, as she was able to quickly resolve a problem with printing out new boarding passes for our return flight. Please arrange to thank them for us. We would like to give you a A+ for customer service.
