Pleasant stay in a good location.
Friendly staff who were prompt with their service.
Unfortunate that the air/ con facility was not working in our room and was under maintenance whilst we were there. Always had to go down to the reception desk for service as nobody answers the phone when you ring from your room.

I enjoyed my stay & would consider it in the future compared to the Travelodge and Premier Inn.
I recieved a bottle of water upon arrival in my room which was a nice gesture. The bed was very comfy, the cleaners on my floor Lindsley and sarah (apologies if i spelt it wrong) were very welcoming and friendly and done a great job.
Room could be bit more bigger, window didn't open, Ac wasn't working although I was given a fan by sarah. Tv remote would stop working sometimes and tv would be more better if bigger. Breakfast needed more variety and if you could pls cater for those who eat Halal dietary. So if the pork & ham could be kept completely separate away from the other food aswell as the utensils used to pick them up. Sometimes people use the same to pick up all the food. If you could mention whether you have halal or not and assure us that the food isn't also cooked in the same oil as maybe pork or ham. I got up to get a hot chocolate and the staff took my plate away which had my croissant that I was going to have then there were none left.

A lovely stay the room was clean and tidy but tired, the beds were extremely lovely and comfy however we found the pillows were a little too hard. We found that their weren’t enough toiletries when their is 3 staying in a room and only have enough toiletries for one person to get one wash. The therapists were very good however Paula Croft went above and beyond and was extremely amazing with what she was doing and paying attention to extra few details just made her amazing.

Looking forward to our next visit
The setting of the hotel is beautiful, picturesque, heritage, while also contemporary. The room and bathroom is comfortable and modern. The breakfast is terrific quality. While we didn't have time to use the spa, it looked wonderful and would definitely tempt us to return in the future. Dog friendly too which is always a plus for us.
Perhaps just the night we stayed here but the parking lot was full and there were numerous noisy groups coming and going through the communal areas. Everyone was pleasant but it definitely took away from the peaceful atmosphere the entrance to the hotel promotes.
