1) Halloween In Bournemouth Square
Dates: 23 October - 01 November 2015
The brand new event Halloween In Bournemouth Square is taking place in the town centre for the week building up to festivities. A mobile venue will host free entertainment for children during half term and live music in the evenings!
Each day is programmed with different acts that include spooky shows by Dr Balloonman, Izzy Wizzy and characters Swash and Buckle. Other kids fun boasts an arts and crafts workshop plus free face painting. A special attraction is hosted by the Sustainable Food City where children are encouraged to bring along pumpkins for a festival of carving and recipe making.

2) Corfe Castle Sausage & Cider Festival with Fireworks
Dates: 24 - 31 October 2015

3) Spooky half term trail at Brownsea Island
Dates: 24 - 31 October 2015
Follow the spooky trail from the Visitor Centre, or join in with one of their led children's squirrel walks. Activity days on Tuesday and Thursday give you the opportunity to try archery and low ropes! Booking not needed, although normal admission charges apply. 4) The Great Exhibition of Boscombe 2015

The Great Exhibition of Boscombe was born as a fringe event to the Bournemouth Arts by the Sea Festival in 2013, to give local, young and emerging artists a platform from which to show case their talents, highlighting our heritage, galleries, creative spaces, pop ups, performance and live art throughout Boscombe.
