Bradford Cancer Support – a charitable organisation providing help when you need it.
Invaluable information and practical help
The charity is an invaluable source of information and practical help for cancer patients and their families – vital for those wanting to make well-informed decisions.
As well as the main Centre, there is an Information Centre within the Bradford Royal Infirmary – both offer a drop-in service for people to access a huge range of information about diagnosis, treatment and care as well as to talk to someone in confidence.
Bradford Cancer Support’s Welfare Rights team is available to help people claim all of their entitlements when ill, as well as providing advice on issues such as debt, employment and legal matters.
The team of volunteer drivers is also available for those who struggle to use public transport and don’t have access to a car, helping to get them to their various appointments.
All of the Bradford Cancer Support services are provided free of charge to people whose lives have been affected by cancer in the Bradford Metropolitan District.
