On 19th September, I was pleased to announce the new leadership team of Braintree's BNI Chapter 'Enterprise Exchange' for the next six months. Last Friday (3rd October), Sonia (Travel Counsellors), Stephen (Force 36), Peter (Peter Evans Photography), Mark (MWR Success Development) and Paul (Kempco) all took to their new roles within the chapter.
The meeting proceeded very well and saw three visitors arrive to meet the members and to try to discover just why BNI is the most successful organisation of it's type in the world. More than that, they were easily able to see why Braintree's Enterprise Exchange is so successful in the local area.
All members are very pleased with how the chapter is fast joining the 'movers and shakers' of BNI chapters in the county and the whole UK. With new members joining regularly, Enterprise Exchange is fast becoming one of the biggest and best BNI chapters, and in fact the biggest and best of all business networking groups in Essex!
Enterprise Exchange is also moving on up in other ways, too! In August, the chapter moved it's Friday morning meetings from The Essex Golf and Country Club, Earls Colne / Coggeshall to The Notley Discovery Centre, Great Notley because the size of the chapter had outgrown the room that we were being allocated each week. Now, the chapter has grown in size again and has had to source a new venue - one that can both accommodate about 30 businesspeople sitting and feed the hungry members adequately!
So, after much deliberation, the leadership team has decided to move our meetings to the Braintree Golf Club, Stisted. This looks to be a beautiful location, and I have every hope that it will be a successful location for our successful meetings each Friday morning!
