Here are some of the points that need to be considered when purchasing a shredder?

Strip Cut – As the name suggests the paper is shredded in strip format.
Confetti Cut – The paper is shred into small pieces
Security Level – This ranges from Level 1 being the largest size of paper shred (e.g. 1 = 12mm strips) to Level 6, 0.8 x 4mm particles which has the smallest level of paper shred. Level 6 is generally used for Top Security documents.

Does the Shredder have any warning signs for overfull bins?
What warranty comes with the Shredder? Most good shredders will have at least a 2 year warranty for the blade and a 5 year warranty on the machine.
